When the line stops, every minute counts
The filling line stopped in the middle of peak season. The technician on shift was capable, but new to this machine, and the manual was a thick binder in German, written for an older version. The supplier's service engineer was in Europe, days away. The few people who really knew the line had moved on. Every hour without production meant lost sales the brewery could not win back.
The brewery moved its documentation to Ospra. Now the technician enters the machine's tag number on a phone, tablet or laptop and gets the documentation for exactly that machine, explained at the right level and in the technician's own language, with drawings, troubleshooting steps and notes from experienced colleagues.
Faults are now solved on site, in hours instead of days. Less depends on the supplier's engineer, and the knowledge stays in the plant when people move on.
